North Fork Cemetery is located at 32823 Road 228, North Fork, CA. On March 13, 1910, the United States Forest Service issued a permit designating the use of the cemetery to the County of Madera.

On May 2, 1957, upon request of the Forest Service and the North Fork community the town’s people voted to annex the North Fork Cemetery into the Madera Cemetery District.

On November 12, 1977, the Ninety-Fifth Congress of the United States conveyed twenty acres to be added to the existing cemetery. The act was signed by then-President, Jimmy Carter.

This cemetery is nestled in the pines with ground and niche burials available to the public.
